It was like it had a mind of its own. Sometimes it just wouldn't start. I have been to the store, shut it off and shop and when you're ready for home it did nothing like the battery was dead. Times varied on how long it would take for it to start again. Well after 3 days one time I figured I'd take the steering column apart to see for myself because going to dealership twice already and they stated they couldn't do it at that time , yes I did have an appointment. Anyway as I got into it I noticed a plug in at the end of the switch looked to me it was at an angle, like it wasn't plugged all the way in. After I reconnected it I put some electrical tape on it and it hasn't let me down again yet, knock on wood. SO I SAY CHECK ALL WIRE CONNECTORS NEAR SWITCH...

Two days before my accident I called the auto dealer where I purchased my vehicle and alerted them that the ignition switch was acting strange. When I would initially turn the key the car would hesitate as if it wasn't making a connection. The air bag and power steering ABS lights were coming on and I would have to restart the car in order for these lights to go off. They told me to call the dealership. I then called the dealership who tells me it would cost $109.00 for them to run diagnostics. I thought they would wave the fee since GM automobiles have had ignition and air bag problems. I had planned to bite the cost and take my car in the next week.

Monday 03/27/2017, as I was taking a highway ramp merging from one highway to another the car suddenly went out control veering left hitting a concrete guardrail. As the car was veering left I tried to gain control and the car would not respond. After hitting the barrier I still tried to stop the car and gain control but I still wasn't able to stop or steer the car. The car then veered right hitting the concrete barrier then shutting down. The air bag partially deployed on the last hit.
