Takata recall - I have been waiting for the dealers to contact me ever since the recall was announced. I have called 4 dealers in my area every month with each time being told we're working on it. I've got young children who sit in the 2nd row and am pregnant, due in October. Will there by any movement regarding this recall? it is worrisome that it seems to have slowed if not, stopped.

The dashboard is severely cracked in multiple spots. I fear if involved in an accident my airbags would be compromised. Not to mention one crack is on the passenger airbag which is recalled due to the takata inflators recall that seems to never be resolved. I am aware of many GMC/Chevrolet owners that have this issue.

Takata recall: Available online information tells me that as the airbags age, they become more sensitive to failure. Also, Florida seems to have a higher failure rate than most states due to heat and humidity. I keep receiving notices in the mail telling me to get repairs, but all GM dealerships contacted have informed me that GM is not providing parts replacements.I am very concerned about this condition and feel I should be able to get a prompt repair.

Takata recall about 2 years ago, I received a card informing me about the air bag inflators being defective. I called the dealer that I bought the vehicle from and they transferred me to parts department. Upon stating they had not received the replacement parts, they advised to call back later. This has been going on for 2 hears but they state the parts have not come in. I do not feel comfortable driving myself or putting my family for trips in the Suburban without replacing the air bags.
