Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety. Notes: It would be ill-advised to blaze any trails with the 2004 Trailblazer. Its faulty fuel gauge could leave you stranded.

2004 Chevrolet, trail Blazer. The cruise control does not work properly. The cruise control does not stop the vehicle from increasing in speed when going down an incline. The consumer took the vehicle to the dealer who said that there was nothing they could do to fix this problem. When the consumer contacted GMC, they said that it was normal and it was designed that way to save fuel. GM also informed the consumer to use lower gears when going down hill. The mileage would still increase when in third gear.

The consumer experienced a bucking problem when using the cruise control option. The fuel supply seemed to be intermittent. Chevrolet advised the consumer that this was the normal condition.
