This morning my instrument panel gauges and warning lights went haywire. This happens very often, mainly in the morning on my way to work. However, today was the worst. It usually lasts a few seconds but today it continued for at least 30 minutes. I smelled as if something may be burning but there was no smoke. The heater would turn off and on as this occurred too. My fear is that the engine may shutdown while I'm driving. That would be disastrous.

This morning I started my engine and 10 minutes into the drive to work the warning lights and gauges started going haywire. The seat belt bell was going; gauges dropped to 0; and warning lights stayed on for about 10 seconds. The warning lights would come on and go off intermittently. Two light stayed on (Slippery road & another). This can be quite scary. I did not know if I should pull over or what.

While driving my vehicle the every warning light came on and the gauges dropped instantaneously. This happened for a few seconds and began working again. A few moments later it happened over again. This continued to happen throughout the day. It has not occurred again since that day.
