From the very day I drove the car off the lot (which it was cold and snowing), when I turn the steering wheel, there is physical feedback, almost like a grinding or whining sound that has a very audible noise to it. It only happens for a brief second a couple times per revolution of the wheel and only happens when it's cold outside. The problem went away once the weather got warmer and I have not had the problem again all summer. Now that it's cold again the problem has started again. There is no noticeable affect on the steering, apart from the feel and noise of turning the wheels, which is very annoying. My research has led me to believe a possible power steering pump issue. I will be taking it in to have it looked at.
