Air bag light came on one day on my way to work, called Chrysler dealer who had me bring the car in the next morning. I left the car with them and they called me to tell me that it was the clock spring and that they had to order the part. Took the car back the next morning for them to fix. Replaced the clock spring. Airbag light and dinging stopped.....for 1 1/2 days! Called dealer again when the light came back on. Took car in, they said the part was faulty and had to replace it. They kept the car over the weekend. Monday they got the part and replaced it (another clock spring). Picked up car - light out......Until last week. Took car to dealer on my lunch hour. Mechanic said that there has to be something else wrong with the car and that he can't fix it on short notice. I have to take them my car again next week so the mechanic can call Chrysler to try and figure out what could be the problem. The mechanic thinks that it could be a wiring problem. Stay tuned for any update next week or whenever I get my car back.

Headed on an emergency trip to Florida. The morning I arrive do not even go to hospital to see relative but go to a Dodge Dealership in Lakeland, FL. The vehicle is still under orginal warranty and I want it fix. I left on a Sunday so I could not get it taken care of till arriving on Monday morning. They find the problem except they cannot get the part till Wednesday the day I am leaving to get back home for work.

The dealership gave me an invoice to take to my local Dodge dealer (DiNovo). Well DiNovo's say I am now on my extended warranty. BULL.

It is in the shop right now after more than a month waiting to get it fix. The parts (wiring harness and clock spring) MUST be really hard to come by. It will not be done today!!

The dealership gave me a loaner car which my wife is driving because it can ONLY go local because tranny is going (1994 Chrysler LeBaron). My daughter has a soccer game in WV. I am at work and my wife has to drop son off at his soccer practice.

I am surprised there is only one other complaint because I heard this is very common. Which makes me wonder why Dodge did not issue a recall. At the local dealership they had to follow a sheet that was pages long on this problem. HMMMMM........

If our 96 dodge had not just died we would not be put out. As it is this is really annoying considering what one pays for this vehicle.

This car has been in the repair shop 8 tiimes for the same problem and the car was purchased the 1st part of January. The most recent time in the repair shop was May 14, 2005. The problems started happening as little as 2 weeks after the original purchase. It seems to me after the 3rd or fourth time of repair Chrysler Corporation would have declared this car a lemon under the "Lemon Law" statutes, and would have replaced the car or something. During the duration of this problem I have lost 46 hours of pay getting this vehicle to and from the repair shop, starting from the 3rd week in January to the present time. I would never ever purchase another Daimler- Chrysler product as long as I'm able to purchase a car again.
