With the engine and all accessories off, the battery drain is 200ma for about a second and then it drops to 40ma where it remains until the battery is totally drained. This takes about 1-2 weeks. If the van is used every day or so the problem doesn't show up but if it won't be used for a week or more it is essential to disconnect the battery. I ruined one brand new battery while discovering this problem.
