E-150 V8 Triton

  • Automatic transmission
  • 180,000 miles

This is a VERY well maintained vehicle. Oil changed every 3,000 miles and lots of parent active maintenance. Blew out the number 7 spark plug threads and all. Also destroyed the coil pack. Dealer fix only in this area. Dealer Fournier 2 other " loose" spark plugs. Had all plugs replaced, helicoil for the damaged cylinder and two additional coil packs.

Then I find out Ford's 5 Triton engines are infamous for this. Why?
