purchased this used vehicle recently. It's in great shape with only 70K miles at 7yrs old. Now, with 76K miles, an indicator light in the dash advises rear left door is ajar. It isn't! Estimate at local Ford dealer is $450 to replace the sensor. They also told me the part is on back order and they don't know when it will be available. Searches through local auto parts stores reveal the same thing. The part is not in stock and on back order. I guess this isn't surprising when an internet search reveals hundreds of complaints regarding the same issue. Ford has a defective part and we owners should not be paying for their defective product.
