CarComplaints.com Notes: The Freestar was introduced in 2004, but it was essentially just a rebranded Windstar. While there was a redesign of the interior and exterior, the Freestar still inherited some of the design flaws of its predecessor.

The first seat behind the passenger's seats seat belt got stuck, tried reclining the seats with anything that would give some slack and it would not move. Had to cut the seat belts in order to get child out. In the two front seats the seat belts will also stick at time. Also the brake light was on all the time.
