My car has been to a Ford Dealer no less than 5 times for this problem. THEY STILL CAN'T FIX IT!!!
We have partnered with JustAnswer to offer online auto repair help and advice from expert professional automotive technicians. You describe your windows / windshield problem or ask your question and they try to help you figure it out. The fee is typically $9 to $15, but you can offer to pay more for really tough questions. You will usually receive an answer in 10 minutes or less, and you do not have to pay anything unless you accept the answer.

It is an intermittent problem on both windows. It only does it the first time you roll the window down for the day. My car has been in the shop at least 5 times and they have replaced the regulator once. It hasn't solved anything. The first dealer acted like I was just hearing things. The next dealer I took it to told me it was HOW I rolled the window down. GIVE ME A BREAK, you push the button!!! They finally heard the clunk and called Ford. Ford acts like it's a minor adjustment of the regulator. The dealer mechanics have no idea how to adjust the clunk out. My warranty will run out and my windows still clunk!
Someone else has to have the same problem too. Please help me find a fix!
