Every time it rains the front and rear cowls fill with water until they flood the cockpit and trunk with water.

Estimate is $948 just for the cleaning and mold treatment on the soaked carpets.Still need to get an estimate to determine where the water is coming into the car.I can hear water in the door panels and rear panel.None of this is covered under extended warranty.

After significant rain I found that my passenger side floor board was soaked with water (not antifreeze). After doing substantial research on the web I found this to be an issue with mustangs built from 2005 until 2014. I spoke with the ford dealership and they did not want to fix the issue for free as my warranty had run out. However, as this issue covers multiple years it seems this is a design issue that should have been addressed many years ago. As it was not fixed then I feel that as a manufacturing/design issue it should be addressed by the ford motor company and I should not be responsible for the cost of repairs. There are a lot of people who have reported this issue but nothing has been done as of yet, that I can tell.
