Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

I was driving on freeway I10, exit ramp 4th street santa monica, and the driver airbag deployed and belt stocked. Explosion with no collision. Was driving at 20 miles a hour or maybe less. Was very scary and get left arms and hand injured. My insurance review and pay for replacement of airbag. But since then, I had no car for 3 weeks, cannot go to work after injuries, under disability loss of wage. Car now has a constant red light engine, electronics system seems messed up with 100 defects signals. Ford dealer santa monica had same week, same incident with a Mustang 2010, airbag exploded with no collision.

My entire rear differential had to be rebuild. My ABS module had to be replaced as soon as the car went out of warranty. At least one wheel bearing had to be replaced. Poor tire wear was a result of the rear differential failing and poor quality tires. All four tires were replaced at 35,000 miles.
