First it would not start. Got new battery. Started for a while. Found out about the Fuel Inertia ShutOff switch under dash on passenger side. Replaced it. Started and ran perfect for days. Then again did not start. Negative ground from battery was fused (touching) hot block (manifold). Replaced it! Started right up. Purred like a kitten. Started up and used several times that day. Next morning, again! Cranks but will not start. 3 things on firewall behind battery. 2 square relay boxes with a circular one in the middle. Has 4 wires going out from it. It makes noise for a few minutes then stops. It seems to have a small vacuum hose attached to it. This is the center circular 'thingamajig' between the two black relay boxes. What is this and can it be the latest addition of cause to my "crankin', but not starting" (AGAIN) problem? Anyone who may know of these things, your help would be greatly appreciated. I know its not the fuel pump(s) or Inertia shutoff switch! What can it be? I've tried checking everything and by all accounts it should start right up! Frustrated and exasperated!
