Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

2004 Ford Ranger truck customer states that the truck was under warranty when he brought the truck to the service department an complained about the brakes both times the technicians found nothing. Customer wants to be reimbursed* the consumer stated the front and rear wheels were never removed to expose the leaking wheel cylinders. Over a period of time, the following year, brake fluid leaked at a slow pace and dissolved the brake lining and caused all the other springs and componets to rust and break.

Brakes were improperly inspected by dealership service dept. On two occasions while under warranty, which led to undo repair bills. The rear brakes and wheel cylinders of my 2004 Ford Ranger truck leaked fluid which caused the brake lining and all other springs & components to rust, break and parts to deteriorate.
