I bought it in 2020. It had the anti-theft issue twice in 2 years where I could not start my car. I thought maybe resetting battery or turning the steering wheel would correct it. But often times, the remedy is time.
I do not know what happened lately. I had the problem in July 2022 while parked in the city. I had to call a cab to get out of the problem. Towing arrived and sent it to the FORD dealer that charged me 300$ for 2 new keys. Brutal.
Ever since, the issue is happening more often.
I will need to go to the junk yard and maybe replace the transceiver. If that fails, I have no choice but to get potentially "ripped-off" at another Ford dealer.
