Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owned a 2007 Ford Ranger. The contact was driving approximately 40 mph when the vehicle independently veered off of the road. The vehicle drove into a ditch and then crashed into a tree. The contact sustained extensive facial and eye injuries. He was transported to a trauma center via helicopter. A police report was available. The vehicle was destroyed and towed to a storage lot to be used for parts. The failure and current mileages were approximately 28,750.
