Okay! It started with a bad flat. The tire was driven a few feet flat, then repaired with a tube and patches, (should have been replaced). The customer did not trust the small do-nut tire (spare) for the distance it would take to by a tire., therefore damaging the sensor. The sensor was replaced at the customers expense, fine, understandable.
However, when the tech. check the system after the repair, it seems that another sensor is also bad. This is way to sensitive for a light duty truck, maybe for cars, not trucks or working vehicles of any kind or design a less sensitive sensor. In the meantime The nice bright tire inflation indicator light is still burning brightly and annoying .
As high as gas is this 3rd trip to the dealership this flat tire event has cost more than 200.00 and I still yet to add the cost of the tire.
The owners already know that the tire pressure should be checked often.
