Typically I am not a Ford person. In the past I've owned 2 Nissan Maxiums. My Maxium is 16 yrs old and my son drives it today. I was pressured into buying the Ford Taurus from SERRA CAR DEALERSHIP of CENTERPOINT, ALABAMA. They use extreme pressure to sell you their cars and this is the second time they have sold me a car that I did not want. In July 2005 after receiving mail solicitation, I went in to look not buy, but was pressured by several of the salesmen into buying the 2005 Ford Taurus. The car was a lemon from the start! First of all, the car was less, than 1 yr old with 25,000 mi. SECONDLY, it was a 2005 without a CD player, but a tape player and radio. Lastly, there wasn't a remote control or keyless entry to give me access into the car. After signing the deal, they gave me an old worn key and to my astonishment the car could only unlock from the driver side by placing the key into the door. This presented a safety issue that bothered me deeply. Even my 1994 Nissan had both of these features.
