My selling Dealer Chenango Sales of Norwich New York states they checked Ford Taurus's as far back as 2010 and they all have dents in both front fenders. Ford Company advised my Dealer that this is a Manufacturing issue with how they stamp the metal that makes the fenders. I had a Body/Fender Specialist look at it and he stated it was a Manufacturing defect as this area where the dent is was caused by a weakness in the material when they stamped it out. This is a $41,000 car that came from the Ford factory with two dents, scratches, and several paint chips. This is why people are buying Foreign Cars. I have had several Nissan Vehicles and never had an issue with Mechanics or Appearance. I have had 7 Nissan Vehicles. I should NOT have given an American Car Maker a chance!!!!!!!!! I am currently waiting to receive the letter from Ford. When I do, I will post it! Please pass this a long to anyone considering a Ford Taurus!!!!

I ordered this 2013 Ford Taurus Limited AWD from the factory at a cost of $41,000. When it arrived it had scratches, paint dings, and the most disturbing issue is the dents in both front fenders. Ford claims it is an issue on all Ford taurus Models since 2010 and is a "Normal Characteristic" of the vehicle. When I took it to a Body Repair Center, they immediately noticed the dents and indicated it was a design flaw during the manufacturing process/stamping of the material used to make the fenders. Ford states that it is "NORMAL"! I have owned many new vehicles and never had a new car come with "DENTS"!!!! My advice, sad to say is DO NOT BUY FORD PRODUCTS!!!
