Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

While driving at 35 mph, the consumer's vehicle was involved in a front end collision. Upon impact, the air bags did not deploy and the seat belt did not hold the passenger, no warning light appeared prior to the crash.

Consumer states while driving the vehicle at 50mph. The consumer was in a vehicle accident, hitting another vehicle from the rear. Consumer states the passenger side seat belt did not lock. The air bag did deploy.
