The vehicle was purchased as an alleged "certified pre-owned" vehicle from Rt. 46 Hyundai, Hackettstown, NJ (crooks!) The carfax report indicated it was a rental car in Washington, DC. The vehicle had numerous problems that were repaired the DAY BEFORE I TOOK possession of the vehicle. The dealer denied any knowledge of this problem. After a month or two I noticed it would "hesitate when depressing the accelerator and then jumped forward" particularly when driving up a hill or entering a highway. Hyundai and the dealer denied this as they indicated there was no recall and/or no other complaints from any one else regarding the same problem. This is completely unacceptable! Not to mention the car does not hold its value so I cannot trade it in for a reliable vehicle! Something needs to be done about this problem.
