A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I have to travel for work. I work on a lot of job sites which is why I purchased the Jeep Cherokee, as it has shift on the fly 4x4. to get me in and out of some of the remote places I have to go. This jeep has been perfect to get me where I need to go and I have NEVER had any issues with it. The lights are the "ONLY" issue that I, have ever had. When driving at night the lights do a very piss poor job of lighting up the road. I drive a far bit in the north of Ontario and having wildlife on the shoulders of the road is a very LARGE concern. These lights even on Highbeam, DO NOT light up any sufficient area to make sure that the drive is able to see and be aware of what is around them. I hope that some one can let me know if there is a solution to this problem. I am thinking of adding a light bar to the front of the jeep, but I really don't want to change the look of the vehicle. If any has any suggestions that would be fantastic.

no peripheral field of lighting

When traveling on a dark street with no street lights the head lights only cast a beam forward not to the sides. The field of view is very poor on the sides of the road. I have tried to use the fog lights to help with casting light to the sides of the road to see ditches and side streets but it doesn’t work.

I have almost gone into a ditch or run into someone’s yard several times because I cannot see where I am turning. I think Jeep knows about this problem because the newer Jeep lights turn with the steering wheel in the direction the wheels are going.

This is very dangerous and has caused me almost running off of the road, into ditches and people’s yards.
