CarComplaints.com Notes: There's no way around it, the Cherokee's transmission is junk. There's no other explanation for why a vehicle, usually with under 40,000 miles, would have so many complaints
This is my first Jeep purchase and I have been very excited to drive my Cherokee. Living/working in a highly congested area, like Austin, trucks will throw rocks and one caught my windshield. No problem, I thought, I've got insurance. My insurance was very easy to deal with and were going to even pay to have the Willy's Jeep logo placed back on my windshield. This made me extremely happy because that was one of the special "touches" I appreciated about my new Jeep.
Come to find out, the Willy's Jeep is only placed on the windshield at the factory. You can't replace it!!!! I feel let down, annoyed, disappointed and cheated! Shame on you, Jeep!!!
