CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2019 Cherokee is racking up engine complaints for suddenly shutting down while driving. But the problem could possibly be related to the increasingly defective 9-speed transmission which suffers from hard shifts, lurching problems, and a wiring harness defect that can cause sudden shutdowns or an unexpected shift into neutral.

Love my leased Jeep but am glad this occurred before my lease is up for renewal. I now have 3 months to decide if I want to extend the lease, buy it out or look for an entirely different vehicle. This appears to be a pretty common problem with a myriad of solutions. I find that super annoying in a car with only 32k miles.

The odometer started flashing and I checked to see if there were other issues - none to be found until it turned cold. My heated seats are not heating, along with the heated steering wheel not working as well.
