The transfer case gear cannot be replaced on it's own, you have to replace the entire transfer case. The $1000 price tag is for a new one, which I have not fixed. The car isn't worth that amount. Selling it for parts. And to think this car would have ran forever if it could just move. It is all time four wheel drive and without replacing the transfer case it can only be driven in 4LOW.
