The contact owns a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while depressing the brake pedal, the rear brake lights failed to illuminate. The light bulbs, fuses and brake pedal switch were replaced however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 176,000.
