Read about problem dash started after bought Back Nov 2015 trip to Florida I 95 night time South Carolina and

Georgia started 4 =5 seconds. used high beam in hurry came back on 70 mph dangerous 4 tap 6 times no way to pull over continued to Va need find repair before someone gets killed would not recommend Jeep fot purchase till problem fixed

head lights flash on and off unless high beam is on. warning light on dash.

I have a 2005 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 6-cylinder. It has 201,000 miles and still running :). However, I've been having two problems:

It appears to be electrical. The headlights turn on and off at will. Sometimes the dashboard lights for the odometer and the light for the clock will stay on when the headlights go out. If I turn the lights "off", and then turn back "on", sometimes they will go back on. It's random and unpredictable.

Any thoughts?

dealer said they can't find the problem. The problem is random and it is getting worse.
