At approx. 9000 miles check engine light came on. Took to dealership, mechanic says ECM needed updated and cleared the light. 30 miles later light back on and back in the shop, mechanic ran codes and says the DEF injector is bad and he ordered a new one and advised to take in on the highway and get it good and hot to clean the biparticulate filter. 100 miles later, MIL (malfunction indicator light) id back on and engine is derated and back in the shop. Mechanic says the filter is 100% full and the Jeep should not be driven. Jeep pays for a rental car and will let me know when parts come in (no ship date).
8 days later we went back to the dealership where we bought the Jeep for $48,695 in February to see if they could help. They offered to take it on trade for $35,000. Looks like the fight with Jeep begins.
