2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee 64,000 highway miles. I bought this new with only 50 miles on it from a Jeep dealer.

Took it to 2 different shops and they both said the rack and pinion was leaking. It had lost 2/3 of the special power steering fluid.

I'm 68 yrs. old. NO off road driving. Never towed anything. No boat, no camper, no trailer. No wreck.

I would had thought Jeep would be putting reliable parts in the steering unit. I have read this is not an uncommon problem for the Fiat / Chrysler Company.
