ESP and ABS light randomly come on. Have had my mechanic follow the wires from start to finish (NOT CHEAP) and they could not find the problem. Jeeps have a ghost in the machine.

Will never purchase another JEEP.

clockspring is not working

Took the Jeep into the dealer because the ESP and trac control light were on. Dealer said it was the clockspring but it was back ordered and would call when it came in. Ready to sell the jeep in Dec so took it in again and again the dealer said it was the clockspring and that the part was still back ordered.. and would be 635 to repair it. I had purchased an extended warranty on the car when we bout it. With waiting for the part I am sure that warranty will lapse. Hard to sell the jeep also with that being a problem. Have heard several cars being recalled due to the clockspring-perhaps the 2006 Liberty should be added to the list.
