The transmission would either not shift, or would get stuck. The engine would race and I had no control of the car. It is now 2010 and for the last three years the engine makes a grinding noise when attempting to shift. Most of the time I end up taking my foot off the gas to help the transmission shift - this is not a safe condition!!!!! manufacturer
