Drivers Seat Has Metal Sharp Piece That Punctures Leg
2012 Jeep Liberty
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Jeep dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: On August 16th, 2012 Jeep stopped production of the the Jeep Liberty, marking the end of a troublesome journey for the SUV.
All in all, the 2012 Liberty actually excels off-road, but since 99% of drivers never take this thing off pavement, that becomes somewhat of a moot point. The Liberty suffers from the worst fuel economy in its class (16/22 MPG) and offers an uncomfortable ride with suspect braking ability.

I bought this 2012 New Jeep Jet Liberty Limited Edition, in 2012, had several issues with recalls on engine and airbags, had to take it to local dealer many times, then the drivers seat is DEFECTIVE, a sharp metal device punctures thru the seat and stabs you in the leg, causing serious injuries.
It has now happened 4 times causing injury, it has now been re-placed 4 times and still it breaks thru, both the dealer and Jeep USA admit it is a "Defective" Design Flaw" but would rather replace it each time it happens as it is cheaper than a recall or having to buy back the Jeep.
They do not care about injuries, or defects just their bottom dollar, today the FCA-Group USA said the Jeep 2012 Jet Liberty has several recalls and defects and if i would just allow them to fix it each time then they would extend my warranty as it would cost too much to recall and replace all the defects Nationwide.
Today Jeep threatened me if i file suit or complain to the Federal or State Authoritarians they will dishonor the extended warranty. I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY ANY JEEP PRODUCTS EVER IN THE FUTURE NOW I AM HIRING LEGAL COUSNEL TO FILE A SUIT.
