I received a recall letter over 2 months ago and still there are no updates on when they will be fixing the problem. Why is an airbag and seatbelt issue taking so long to take care of. This is a safety issue.
There is no remedy to this recall and its rediculous. We are forced to drive a vehicle that is not safe. We cant even trade it in because the dealership wont take it. Also our bodily injury insurance for this Jeep is five times what it used to cost. We financed this Jeep, it is unbelieveable that we have to drive a vehicle that could potentionally hurt us worse if we were in a crash. Something needs to done immediately.
I never received a notice of this recall and I was going to trade my vehicle in and they told me that they cant give as much for it cause it had a recall so I feel that this is unsafe for my family and now I wont get what its worth so if I want to trade it in I will have negative equity which I think is unfair I shouldnt have to pay thousands of dollars more to get my car down to where I wont have negative equity they should be able to fix this problem but this has been this way since 9/16/2016

Takata recall. I received an important safety recall through the mail from the fca us llc. I've already submitted a form for notifications on when the parts available as of 12/08/2016. Since then I have not received any updates as to when and where the parts will be available.
Recall issued by Chrysler in September 2016 involving defective air bags and front seatbelt pretensioners. It is now February 2017 and Chrysler still has not fixed this safety issue in a reasonable time frame. Essentially, I'm driving in a car where I could be seriously injured or killed, due to Chrysler's negligence in resolving this recall properly.

This 2014 Jeep Patriot was involved in a crash with a deer and the air bags did not deploy. Recall S61/NHTSA 16V-668 dated 10/01/16 still has no solution for this problem. We also have a 2010 Jeep Patriot under this recall. Every time we drive either car it is in Jeep's hands. We need a solution!!!!!!!
