cruise control light comes on and the car loses power
I am literally afraid of driving my 2006 Kia Sorento because I am unsure when it will just lose power while I'm driving. I live in Maryland where you almost need to get on the highway to go anywhere and there have been several incidences where I was driving on 495 and the cruise control light would come on out of nowhere and the car loses power. All lights appear on the dash and the car not only loses all power but the steering becomes extremely difficult to turn in order for me to pull over on the side of the highway. This has become so dangerous I normally drive in the slow lane the entire time just in case the car loses power. I am sick and tired of dealing with this. I've seen several complaints on this same issue and I believe this problem should be fixed at no cost. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford some ridiculous price to pay for something that is malfunctioning. I would like to join the class action lawsuit, because I believe Kia was aware of this problem initially....
