CarComplaints.com Notes: There are just too many engine stalls or shuts down while driving reports to feel good about the Sorento. Especially when those things happen, on average, at just over 32,000 miles. Hopefully things will change.

I've read complaints about the same issue from other Kia Sorento owners. We bought the car previously owned, thinking it was a good choice. Since we've had it (about a year), we've had to add 1-2 quarts of oil every thousand miles. Took it in to Kia soon after buying it, and we were told that there was no leak, so nothing is wrong with the car.
Since this seems to be a known problem with Kia Sorentos, is there a fix for this? Has anyone had any luck with Kia? Or are they in denial?
