I had just got on the highway, as I was crossing a large bridge in high speed lane. The Hood of my Daughter's Kia Sorento slammed open, denting roof and bending hood. I had to look out a tiny opening at bottom and get over to side of road. Thankfully I kept calm even with traffic, did not hit any other vehicles. This should never have happened!!!! Hood was closed, latch by itself. I am glad it did not cause a major accident. But Hood is completely un repairable, and damage to roof and tops of fenders all bent.
