Purchased my wife the new 2021 Sorento S last Tuesday. We promptly used the car to go see my in-laws over the weekend. FIL noticed some drips on his blacktop driveway. To my surprise, the rear differential transfer case has a leak. Car has 500 miles on it. Took it back to the dealership where we bought it today and they have never seen this. They say they need to put my wife in a rental and get a Kia Engineer involved.
Update from May 24, 2021: Factory installed gasket for the rear differential transfer house casing backwards. Dealer was able to order a new gasket and replace/install correctly. Housing is no longer leaking.
