Own a 2016 Mazda CX-5 ($30,000 price tag), this is my 3rd Mazda vehicle, The passengers side running light just went out, instead of replacing a bulb in the light housing like any other light by other car makers, Mazda knows full well that there is an issue with the running light, but instead of recalling and fixing the problem with this particular model, Mazda would rather pass their bad engineering onto the customer by making them buy the entire head light assembly for $1,000, and eventually both have to be replaced at a whopping $2,000!!! You could almost buy a transmission for this amount!
Mazda needs to pony-up on their defective LED lights and do a recall or they are going to lose more buyers.
