oil pump failure -- 1996 626:
Oil pump failed (no oil pressure gauge in car, so no way to tell when it happens) and killed my rod and main bearings in the engine, causing catastrophic failure of the engine and shooting a rod through the side of the block, thus killing it and eliminating any chance of rebuilding the engine. ... VEHICLE STARTED TO OVER HEAT, EXACTLY ONE DAY AFTER INITIAL PURCHASE, LEAKING ( NO DRIPPING) COOLANT FLUID CONSTANTLY. fuel/air ratio incorrect -- 1998 626:
