Just driving along as usual when car refused to shift into 5th or 6th gear. Also loss of power on acceleration. Only code that kept coming up was PO192. I changed the regular fuel pump, which cost me $420, as in that was just the price of the part! What happened to the days of $200 fuel pumps?? That was not the problem. So I took it to the dealer. They say it’s the high pressure fuel pump. Cost of that one? $822.

So much for saving money with a “fuel efficient” car.

This was only 2 days after the windshield incident. I am not a happy Mazda owner at the moment!
