Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Front lower control arms safety recall 8515G / NHTSA campaign no. 15V-451 :: July 19 2016 went to team Mazda Subaru (6218 cleveland blvd. Nampa id) for recall replacements and was told it would take 2 weeks for parts to be ordered & delivered. August 8th, I called team Mazda after not receiving any call/ notification and was told I would receive a call back. Still no call back (August 9th; three weeks later).

When pressing the brakes at any speed there was a hissing sound and the brakes were hard to press. Regardless of the amount of pressure I applied to the brakes they did not react and it took the vehicle longer to slow down even at very low speeds (5-10 mph) or faster. This came on suddenly and caused me to bring the vehicle into the service department of the the dealership where I purchased it. The Mazda technician inspected the vehicles and completed a diagnostics of the vehicle and discovered that the master cylinder and brake booster have failed and need to be replaced.
