I have been waiting for a replacement driver air bag since June of 2014. I received a letter from Mazda in February of 2015 that stated I would be notified when a part is available. I contacted a Mazda dealership in June of 2015 to inquire about the airbag and was told I need to wait until they are available. It's been a year and I do not feel safe driving the vehicle. Is there any action that can be taken to have this expedited or financial compensation for the loss of a vehicle?

Recall #14V-344 has been out over a year and there are still no parts/remedies available. How is this possible? now they've reissued the recall under a new number (15V-382) but still no parts/remedies are available. There are millions of lives at stake. Is there a time limit" the manufacturer should be forced to buy back cars with defects or pay for us to lease another car until they can fix it. What remedies do we have other than to sit and wait and put our lives at risk"
