Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

There were no events prior to the event other than regular use and on time maintenance. The failure happens when ever we put gas in our gas tank. After filling the tank (no matter if its full or empty) the car will not start. We have to put the key in the ignition while pressing hard on the gas, and then take off. The car will sputter for about a mile and then will run normally. The only time we have had trouble starting it, is when we put gas in it. We have taken the car to an authorized mechanic who flushed out the fuel injection system, and that still did not work.
