The contact owns a 2009 Mazda 6. while driving 20 mph, the steering wheel seized and the vehicle drifted to the right. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that the subframe was severely rusted. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The failure mileage was 178,000.

The contact owns a 2009 Mazda 6. the contact stated that the passenger side subframe was rusted, which made the vehicle difficult to maneuver and affected the alignment. The contact self-diagnosed the vehicle, but it was not taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 151,000.
