CarComplaints.com Notes: The MAZDA6 was redesigned for the 2009 model year. Like any first-year product, it has a few growing pains – most notably a shiny, melting dashboard that can blind the driver.

Horn goes off whenever it wants....no time or day to predict when it will happen...no difference if the car is locked or unlocked...just wonder if this a problem Mazda will ignore like the rusted frame that almost got me killed when it fell apart while on the road...Mazda told me it was because I live in PA and the weather here is bad in the winter...what a joke....they finally had to admit it was a recall after months of fighting with them

this may be the same situation but I know I'm definitely not paying $110 to have it diagnosed...they told me the codes were changed when I got a new battery but it didn't help....will never buy a Mazda again

MAZDA6 L V6

I have this 2006 Mazda 6 and its nothing but a thorn in my side. Besides all the recalls it has, I have to deal with running to the window at least a dozen times a day. I have to sit my key beside me at all times because I never know when my car alarm is going to go off and I have to stop what I'm doing and run to the window and stop the alarm, and try not to bother my neighbors too bad with hearing a car alarm all hours of the day and night. It is embarrassing. I put a new battery in it hoping that would work but it didn't. I go check all the doors all the time but nothing I try works. I have had all the doors tightened but it doesn't matter, that alarm still goes off just whenever it wants to... Now I know why my whole family only buys America made...... They have never had as much trouble as I have with this Mazda, with every vehicle they ever owned put together!!
