I bought a Nissan 2006. It ended up having two catalytic converters go on me. So I replaced them. Next thing I knew the other two had to be replaced, so I turned in the vehicle and bought another new one, a 2011. I was working at the time and could not spend thousands on it or take the time out of work. So I bought another one new. Now this 2011 has had its own catalytic converters go, two of them. The dealer quoted over $2,000.00 to repair. I am on a fixed income and it seems odd that once again the same problem? Man, am I pissed.
I had to get a credit card just to try and fix it and still haven't found a mechanic that can do it for less than $2,000. So I'm still trying. Good thing I am retired as if I need the truck for work I would be facing serious loss of time at work!!!
I do not think the Nissan truck, Frontier is the vehicle to buy that for sure. I am once again in debt over a vehicle needing repairs - ouch!
