We don't have a lot of complaints on file for the Nissan X-Trail (although feel free to add yours here) -- it's either not very popular ... or it's very, very good.
The 2006 Nissan X-Trail has the most complaints, & the most-reported problem is with the 2009 X-Trail for burning clutch.

heater blows cool air -- 2005 X-Trail:

rough idling, engine vibration -- 2006 X-Trail:
There was no sign on temperature meter showing engine heated up. no loss of water in coolant tank or lost of engine oil. Nissan Workshop said it is due to engine heated up and causing gasket to burn. Read more »
