Murano SL V6
Took my car to dealership paid $95 to have diagnostic test ran to tell me why my passenger door would not lock or unlock with the key or the switch, had to manually lock it. Was advised that the motor was gone out and the part alone was $400. Dealer suggested I continue to manually lock and unlock. Now the driver side has the same problem, to add to the frustration the hatch in back seems to work off the motor on the passenger side. Therefore to load groceries, or anything I have to unlock the driver side, reach over unlock passenger side then come out of car and lift hatch. Contacted Nissan and they advised me to contact dealer who said it is not under warranty so it would cost me to have it repaired. I am upset and disappointed as Nissan can repair this. My Altima is a 1997 and never a locking problem. Read somewhere another customer said the same thing was happening to her Murano. Car has never been in an accident or anything so why can't Nissan cover this?
