Murano ES 3.2L

I have an 09 Murano and it will fail at random times to turn over when the ignition button is pushed. The battery and clamps are good. At times there is a growl behind the dash and above the steering column prior to the engine turning over and other times nothing happens.

Car won't start. Tried new FOB batteries, different FOB's, plugging into slot, jumping car, rolled car backwards and tried starting when in neutral. Feels like steering wheel is not in locked mode.
